Sleeve extensions are problem solvers. They can be attached to standard and extended wall sleeves to increase the wall sleeve depth for deep wall application. Sleeve extensions come with splitters to prevent air recirculation.

The Friedrich® T-series and ZoneAire wall sleeve adapter converts a narrow 11.5-inch wall sleeve to an industry standard 14-inch deep wall sleeve. The extension is constructed of 20-gauge Galvanized steel. It is designed to seal to the existing wall sleeve while increasing the room side depth by 3 inches to accommodate standard PTAC units.

The electrical subbase with a pre-wired hardwire whip provides a permanent power connection for a PTAC unit. Electrical hard wiring is required when NEC (National Electrical Code) or local codes restrict the use of power cord and plug connections.  Mechanical features are the same as the non-electrical subbase. The universal subbase is made of heavy gauge steel to offer mechanical support for the wall sleeve and unit. It provides accurate leveling to maintain the correct pitch for drainage and prevent the PTAC unit from cantilevering into the room.

The subbase fuse kit provides both a power disconnect switch and single over-current protection to both electrical legs. The switch provides a physical power disconnect for a PTAC unit. The fuse holders mount in the subbase to provide in-line over-current protection at the unit when required by NEC (National Electric Code) or local codes.
